“Thanks for the info…Oops. On the weekends, I’m outside wearing a t-shirt covered in paint mowing the lawn with a hand push mower in Carmel Valley. Maybe that’s why my neighbors hate me. But I guess it’s because I’m cheap and don’t want to pay $60 to hire a gardener to mow 5 feet of grass. (I don’t even have extended cable).”

Fat, are we brothers? I turned in my digital box because I didnt see a need to pay 7 more bucks a month. I am really cheap.

There are some great comments about the Temecula area. My take is this:
Temecula is the high desert to San Diego as Hesperia is to Inland Empire. Course Temecula is nicer but the values will drop far (I’m shocked no one disagrees about this area tanking). I am lucky because my wife will teach there as I will be right in the middle of my territory, San Diego, Orange, Riverside. It is cheaper and API schools are high (no clue for how long). I took a long azz drive through De luz all the way into Fallbrook today with my stero full blast like always. I never been to Fallbrook before. None of u’s are looking to buy there right? It looks to me like a ghetto version of Oceanside without the Ocean.

Cool deal. I’m presuading my wife everyday that we are going to buy a De Luz 2-10 acre and build on it. No McMansions for me. They are already 200k-300k now. I estimate about 400-500k when I am all done with that idea. Buy property, rent until lot is 100% paid off (I may be able to buy it all cash it comes down 30-40%), build, only have mortgage on construction. I like that area a lot.

I read on calculated risk someone which one poster said it perfect. The banks can’t dump them because while they hold them they are not taking any losses on paper. They hold them high as they can for as long as they can. I heard this one quote once, “the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay rational”. Not me baby. I can wait till they are barfing them up.
