ParticipantFor Brian hating America is preferable to hating himself. The flag symbolically provides him with an object for his free floating anxiety and keeps him from succumbing to the debilitating and crushing weight of his true self-loathing. Let him attack the people and institutions in this country. Everyone sees through his petty and continuous assaults on all things American: from Palin to Bush, his hatred keeps him from thinking about his life. His hatred keeps him alive.

ParticipantThat is great info. and I concur. I hate to be bearish, but it makes sense given so many of the negative factors hanging over real estate, especially in California.

ParticipantWhat will be crucial the next few months is what the Fed. does or does not do to interest rates in combination with the surging market and finally, if it is true there are still many pent up foreclosed properties that BAC inherited from Countrywide that they are planning to unload this summer. That combo. could really be a game changer. I do not think the Fed. wants to damage this fragile real estate recovery, so I am predicting they do not let free market forces take over interest rates at this time.
