Participant

Neither, why?
No reason … just because those are two neighbors of the former Intuit office.
The turbo tax office was right off of 805 at Governor Drive… that small cluster of business buildings on the east end of UC. That’s what I was talking about.

ParticipantWhen I was buying my hybrid highlander I went to Toyota of Poway. The hybrid version had literally just come out and I was waitlisted on 2 dealerships, but found out poway had a few in stock. I went there and their price was $5k ABOVE MSRP. I told them I wouldn’t do it, but the talked me into test driving and promised they’d get me a better price. Got done with the test drive and the sales doofus told me he had “talked his manager” into selling it to me for *only* $2k above MSRP. I walked.
I bought one below MSRP the next day at El Cajon Toyota.
To say I was not impressed with Poway Toyota is an understatement.

Participant

I can’t speak to the specific neighborhood… but as a former neighbor of Intuit, I wouldn’t worry. (They were in University City prior to building their new campus.)
I’m pretty sure that campus is the home of the TurboTax group… so a bunch of accountants and software programmers. Not a bad bunch of daytime neighbors.
Do you work at Lockheed or Qualcomm?
Neither, why?
(I have friends at both though. Hard not to when you’re an engineer.)UCGal
