Participant
Cuatros Milpas is GREAT, but never had El Cuervo or Carnitas Uruapan. I will try them out, thanks for the tips. I will say that nothing beats a drunken 2:30am carne asada burrito from La Posta (near El Cuervo).
I forgot to mention my other favorite: El Zarape at the end of Park Blvd in University Heights. The shrimp burrito there is sublime.
Talking about Mexican food is way more fun than talking about swine flu.
My 3 alltime favorite mexican food joints. Just ate at La Posta last weekend. And did the 2:30am burrito fix far too often in my misspent youth. (These day I’m sound asleep at 2:30am.)
the tamales at Los Cuatros are awesome!

ParticipantSpector flipped because PA demographics changed. He couldn’t pull a Lieberman – run in the general as an “independent” if he loses the GOP primary, because PA has a Sore Loser law prohibiting running in the general if you lose in the primary.
Pennsylvania is a weird state – they had a pro-choice Republican and a pro-life Democrat for senators. I used to live there, I know how wierd it is.
As a dem, my attitude is that Republicans can keep Spector. Bah.

ParticipantIt’s bleak if you’re looking for a job. My husband is in a hard hit field – Commercial Architecture. Even with experience dealing with hard to deal with agencies (OSPD, FAA, etc.) he’s finding zip. In previous times he could go to the San Diego’s AIAA website. Last month there was an ad for a drafting position and two ads for people looking to sublet or share their studio space. Today there are NO ads, zero.
Monster has nothing. Craigslist has a few headhunters and a bunch of folks, like my husband, who are LOOKING for jobs.

ParticipantI am not an expert.
I just have a feeling that the results of the stress test and some of the earnings reports that are still trickling out will have a downward effect. But, the market isn’t rational so I’m probably wrong.
