ParticipantI think I’m the only female on the planet that ABHORS shopping. There is not enough bargain savings in the world to make me go to a mall and fight crowds to save a few $. I’d rather wait till closer to Christmas when retailers discount it close to black friday prices… or better yet – order it online.
Seriously – I hate shopping.

ParticipantThere will always be people who do extreme things to get fame. It just seems like lately there’s been a reality show twist to the stories.
I’m all for full consequences for their actions. Bubble boys parents ended up pleading guilty – which is good, saves the cost of prosecuting them. I hope these bozos spend some quality jail time for their actions.
What these idiots don’t realize – in order for a show to be successful, they have to be interesting… I don’t see it with the bubble boy or with what I’ve seen about these white house crashers.

Look again at the space between the folding doors for the closets in the bedroom. I’d swear that swinging door hides a small area that has the stacked W/D.[/quote]
Good call, LesUCGal

ParticipantI’m pretty impressed by KC 576. It appears to be easily modified to make it handicap accessible. It would have worked on our building site – but is oriented wrong for the views. (We have nice views that are something my in-laws enjoy). And there’s no space for stacked laundry or other “niceties” that make a home more livable.
I notice most of these take advantage of an open living space (living/kitchen flow together) – that makes a HUGE difference in a small house.
