Participant
Ummmm…. hair grows back after chemo. I seen that several times with family. Cosmetic surgery for burn victims is a very differen thing. My point is that if you are going to question accessibility to necessary care that improves ones physical health and longevity thats one thing but saving ones hair during chemo while avoiding a traumatic experience doesnt fit that and was a poor example IMO.
Scarred skin doesn’t effect longevity. The cosmetic surgery done post graft is done for cosmetic reasons. Both are important to people facing or having faced life threatening issues.

Participant
And I thought the US was the king of unecessary cosmetic procedures. Who woulda thunk it?
Keeping your hair during chemo is an unnecessary cosmetic procedure? It’s not exactly the same as a brow lift or boob job, IMO. I’d put it more on par with cosmetic surgery for burn victims… But maybe some consider that unnecessary, also.

ParticipantI was surprised when Andy Reid picked him up… but it’s been a good move for the Eagles… even if last nights game blew chunks.

Participant

jp, our favorite whipping boy, the fabulous “smashing stonebridge sanctuary” finally sold for $850k after 3 years of drama.

That’s a huge total loss. I bet the seller is really happy to be done with that great adventure.
Any idea if this was a (re)foreclosure? RE-REO?
It doesn’t look like it. Nothing indicating NODs or NOTs on the previous owners grand deed search.
An expensive lesson in how not to flip for the previous owner… 200k lost plus carrying costs…
