Participant
Or when Miramar Road was 2 lanes and no retail or furniture stores! Ridden it many times on my bicycle to go fishing at Miramar Lake.
When Miramar Rd didn’t turn into La Jolla Village – you had to go onto Westgate Mall to get to Genessee.
Heck – when Genesee didn’t go north of Appleton in Clairemont – and the only way into UC was Regents Rd – Genesee hadn’t crossed San Clemente Canyon. (Genessee extended to UC in mid 60’s – and north to UTC in mid-late 60’s)

Participant
Scarlett, looks like the market is changing in your favor. This is a small house but it is on a 9000 sq. ft. lot.

I saw that this morning and had the same reaction.
Maybe as an owner in UC I should be horrified that a home sold for so little in UC… but since I don’t plan to sell till I have to go to a retirement home or funeral home… it’s no matter to me. UC has been overpriced and it’s nice to see some more rational prices coming in.

It’s actually pretty decent movie (at least worthy of renting).
This is how your asian kid can turn out.
Participant
Excellent posts Diego… Yeah I had not even considered building on it, that is a whole can of worms and I am not sure I would ever do it… Maybe a deck or something but not anything that is bigtime structural.
I like pools alot… as long as they are at someone elses home!
Agree totally on someone else’s home.
I would imagine it could be made into a proper building pad if you did proper compaction in 8″ lifts, etc… but that would add to the costs.UCGal
