Participant
Now that you mention it, I myself had my parents visit my place of rent before deciding. Wanted to make sure it was a safe area!
… and I guess I had Tiger parents also.
While we’re on this topic, has anyone used an identity/credit report service such as this http://www.e-renter.com/ to help screen your tenant? Was just wondering how useful this information would be and if it was worth the $30+$2 cost.
There are cheaper credit/background checks.A quick google turned up:

Participant

I’m taking swimming lessons. In my yard from my kid. They were howling w laughter at mh feeble kicking this weekend. howling. I’m gonna swim by the end of summer but never as fast as that damn swim team adolescent boy.
I can kind of swim but my kid described it as more temporarily avoiding sinking.
I’m thinking we should open a swim school. Maybe deduct the pool?
You wouldn’t be the first person… There’s someone that lives in C.V. and has a pretty big pool. He “rents” it to a swim instructor….
Back in the good ol days (says the cranky old woman) the Red Cross had back-yard-swim lessons. My mom was a certified teacher and our pool was used for lessons. Various moms in the neighborhood would get certified – then teach the neighborhood kids. They had different levels: beginner, advanced begginer, intermediate, lifeguard training…
I figure this program was killed for liability / insurance reasons.
