ParticipantHey Rich,
I got an excellent referral for you. Greg Bouchey 619-843-9207. He is a project manager for a large heating/air company full time installs for all the major Home builders for new construction. He works for himself on the side and I knew him when I worked for one of those builders. He did my A/C in my home and I’ve referred him to others. Nice guy, never hurts to get an estimate and an honest answer.

ParticipantI also would recommend Ikea cabinets. They are top quality and you can’t beat their 10 year warranty. Use the contractor they recommend, I think his name and company name is Michael Early. He will come to the house, do the cad drawings, and you can order the cabinets from his drawing and pay the labor for the install. I think Ikea just ended a 20% sale they had until last Sunday (bummer) good deal.

ParticipantThis one might be a future lawsuit. In condo’s you own the “airspace” of the condo, and that is how most insurance companies look at it. Inside the walls, is considered common areas, and can be the problem of the HOA. $75k is probably damage to more than one unit. So, this could have several insurance companies involved. I would stay far away from this one.
