Inflation was already high in China but here is latest headline.
“Inflation in China runs rampant because of the outbreak”We were in Ranch-99 Saturday, did not see a lot of people wearing masks (I did not wear one either), We decided to grab something quick to eat at Sam Woo’s but there was this woman coughing fairly badly in the restaurant so we decided to go across the street to Carl’s jr. Yea I know it most likely was the flu or something LOL.
The-ShovelerParticipantI don’t know, seems like dumb money is finally joining the party and then there is this coronavirus thing.
We will see I guess.
The-ShovelerParticipantSeems like a bad “B” movie.
Police patrol the streets with temperature checkers, if you have a temp, guys come in white suites and forcibly take you away.
The-ShovelerParticipantIf it becomes more of an issue here, I will definitely not be taking public transportation.
This is where car culture and suburbia works LOL.
The-ShovelerParticipantThe optics are not good.
Doctor who raised alarm on coronavirus dies of disease.
China Clamps Down on Coronavirus Coverage as Cases Surge.The-ShovelerParticipantJust using the numbers we are being told (in China).
425 deaths
20438 confirmed cases
2,788 of the cases are severe (around 14%)Clearly this thing is no fun if you get it.
The-ShovelerParticipantDeplorable is in the eyes of the Deplorable.
LOL.You can renounce your citizenship and leave any time you want, no ones going to stop you, I am sure some here will help you fill out the paper work even.
The-ShovelerParticipantSaying you’er a world citizen means next to nothing, your still going to need a passport etc…
A guy in Kentucky who likes hound dogs, guns and moonshine is a world citizen too LOL.
Real digital nomads probably number in the thousands not millions, anyway I like telecommuting too LOL.
The-ShovelerParticipant“world citizens”
LOL, you know your actual chance of becoming a Chinese citizen is zero “0”.
The-ShovelerParticipantShortages?
Consumer price increases? It takes about three weeks for a container ship to cross the ocean so I figure we still have not yet felt the effects of this.
Could be a world wide issue (just the economics) IMO.
I have always heard that if the US stops all biz for three days we would have a severe recession I cannot imagine how this will effect China.
The-ShovelerParticipantI love Telecommuting LOL.
Maybe people don’t want to live in small towns that are really remote.
SD Suburbs work for me.
The-ShovelerParticipantState department travel advisory — China Level-4 Do not travel , delta suspends all flights to China.
Singapore bans Chinese travelers.
Singapore said on Friday it was suspending entry to travelers with a recent history of travel to China and suspending visas for Chinese passport holders, to stop the spread of the coronavirus,
The-ShovelerParticipantI got to imagine if you get it, you will know it.
I don’t think they shut down a good part of China for nothing.
Death toll now 212 (likely several times that IMO).
The-ShovelerParticipantMaybe put off booking that cruise
Over 6,000 people quarantined on cruise ship amid coronavirus scare
