ParticipantSeems SD is not the only county with budget issues,
In L.A. City and County, they are near financial crises due to falling revenue from property taxes and fees etc…
This is getting more interesting every day.

I will pick up a nice, spacious home in the high 100’s, low 200’s. Not a penny more..
I think you may be a bit too wishful here, I think about 100 sqf for the bigger homes, maybe 125 to 150 sqf for the smaller homes (unless it is a foreclosure wreck with some major fixing needed) is about where it will bottom in Temecula area . (that’s just my opinion, no expert just a gut feel).
well anyway good luck to you.

Bring in the sewer, electric, gas, add streets etc…
and you can do this for less than 60 sqf !!

so it’s not going to zero guy’s, Ie.. if you can find a good deal maybe you should go for it ….

If you look at places like Temecula Valley, we are already at 2002/2003 prices (if you shop around, ie.. anyone paying more than 400K or so in the Temecula valley for a now standard 3000sqf tract home is just not shopping, ie can you say sucker !!!)..
I think there are more area’s like Temecula in California than most think.
