It looks like a zero lot line unattached. Just ask the HOA management company if you want to know the specifics. From this article in 2003 it looks like the hoa does more than take care of the lawn and common areas, they may handle even the stucco and roof repairs.

temeculaguyParticipantI like http://paper-money.blogspot.com/ not for the blog but on the right it has some cool links, especially BNN Bubble news network which is a collection of video clips taken from the news. Piggington is by far and away my favorite blog because of the quality of the regular posters.

temeculaguyParticipantTwo years is a good guess but I wouldn’t ignore things during those two years, nor would I commit to buy on 07-08-09. Check the prices every six months and stay liquid. The market hasn’t been behaving itself in recent years and there’s no guarantee it will fall back in line with past patterns or projected ones. Things could go to hell in handbasket next year and stabilize the year after that, you just can’t tell. Or worse, it could come down 10% over the next two years and then after you buy it doesn’t stop going down.

July 8, 2007 at 8:24 PM in reply to: House I am renting is about to go into pre-foreclosure – what to do? #64714temeculaguyParticipantI like your original deal and if he has always been a nice guy, he will likely continue that streak. He’s been honest, be honest back. He hangs onto your security deposit and you get two or three months free rent, which after the moving expenses is kind of a wash. Was there a lease? If there is one then he may be even more cool about it because he is breaking it. If you are worried about references, printout the public infor on the NOD and NOT so that you can prove to a future landlord what happened. You could also find out who the bank is and once the forclosure process gets going contact them and ask if you can continue renting from them at a reduced rate since they will be selling it (which could take months). I’ve never seen this but if I were the bank I would rather sell a house with a renter that keeps the landscaping up as opposed to a brown lawn special.

temeculaguyParticipantWay to go Unions, instead of getting 50% of the 8,000 jobs, you got your members 100% of zero jobs. Unions are trending more toward what is good for the union rather than what is good for the members or the community. How come I never hear the unions in the building industry flex their muscle with regards to illegal alien workers which is what has truly held down the wages of their members.

temeculaguyParticipantLooking at where everyone wants to buy it looks like I’m at the front of the line and will get mine first. Prices have just come into my goal price but now it is a true waiting game to see how low they will go.
South Temecula, South of lower 79
Condo or House but if a condo 2car attached gar and nobody above/below, I guess you’d call that a townhouse
Under 350k, the more under the better
1600 to 2300 sq ft, 3br, minimal lot, community pool
currently rent but also have a property for sale that I do not live in but the sale of it is not required for me to buy.Shopping the market: Daily, but internet and new home touring annonymously, not ready to enlist the services of a realtor just yet.
