Participantbetter return
I am currently pursuing a set of three four-plexes in Alabama. Asking price is $335k, can probably put 10% down, and it will cash flow about $1000/mo.
Consider the return on a property like this vs. a property here in San Diego. You should make your money work harder for you.
Still, not a bad purchase…

Why isn’t there a (much larger) “outsourcing” of home buyers and jobs to less expensive but good locales?
At the heart of it, people don’t tend to like change. Change can be scary. There is no guarantee that the situation will improve if they move to a different location. People get to a point where they are comfortable where they are and the more comfortable it gets, the harder it is to leave.
I come from a location where there is a constant hurricane at least every year. Terrible. It knocks out the power for a month, the sewer water backs up, and you have to rebuild your house because it can get severely damaged during the storm. The local government is in shambles, public education is virtually third world, and salaries and job opportunities are extremely low. There are, however, still people living there and they wouldn’t want to move for the world. My parents could probably make a very comfortable existence most anywhere else, yet they choose to stay there.
Change. That’s your answer.

There are easier and much more legal ways to avoid paying taxes than the methods shown here. At the end of it, which would you rather have? Fighting the IRS or firm legal ground?

Assuming you had no salary before your first job, isn’t that a “no solution”?
X=previous salary
Y=new salary(Y-X)/X = no solution when X=0
(is it 5:00 yet)…

In general you are not going to get a 25% to 50% raise if you are staying within the company. They will try to nickel and dime you. “Oh, how about a nickel increase in your per hour?”. Hahahaha. If you have an actual job offer and an amount, then they might try to match it if they like you enough, but that’s about it.
That being said, I was able to get a 30% raise when I changed my job last year. My wife was about to get a 25% raise when she did the same.

I get the impression that it is not just a propaganda piece because it actually holds muslims accountable and tells them that they need to change their ways.
The usual and dishonest way is to blame the U.S., blame Israel, blame Iraq, blame the world because it is not Islamic enough. The writer gets to the heart of the matter and suggests that in order to evolve as a society, the ummah has to give up the self-victimization and also tells the Western society that they shouldn’t be pandering and accomodating the islamists.
Compared to all the other stuff I’ve read, this looked like an honest dialogue.
