Thank you very much for your comments! I just have 3 more questions: 1) Is the builder willing to negotiate the price (i.e. throwing in upgrades…) ? I’m interested in getting model 6 of a “Canopypark” home. 2) Do you know how the traffic in the morning is going to La Mesa on 125 south? 3) Any issues with noise within the complex (either Stoney Creek or Canopypark)?

Thanks!sunny88ParticipantJust like you we have been watching the market in Santaluz closely. Many homes in the gated community have been on the market for a long time without price reduction. A few weekends ago there were over 10 open houses in this community. One of the agents told us that some of the homes were bought by realtors in the hope of a quick sale and were never occupied. I can’t imagine that any of these homes will be sold at the current asking prices! We are therefore also waiting for a price reduction before making a bid.

They have reduced the prices significantly over the last few months and the homes are very nice. The location seems to be quite convenient near Mast and Mission Gorge. Does anybody have an opinion if there are any drawbacks living there? Any locals who can give me their input?
