ParticipantPKMAN,
Thank you for your reply. We went out there today and they have a couple Models 6 and 4 available. They offered a 6% incentive for closing cost or upgrades and lowered the price to $379k on a Model 6 home! One of the homes fell out of escrow after the potential buyer upgraded the home already! Selling homes in the current market must be quite painful! Given the current slow market we should be able to get a great deal…

ParticipantCV is way overpriced. It used to be for people who wanted to live close to the coast but couldn’t afford buying a home in LJ or DM.

ParticipantStonebridge has seen a lot of foreclosures within the last few months and the prices are coming down fast…. Anybody in this forum who has been interested in buying a foreclosed home?

ParticipantThank you very much for your comments! I just have 3 more questions: 1) Is the builder willing to negotiate the price (i.e. throwing in upgrades…) ? I’m interested in getting model 6 of a “Canopypark” home. 2) Do you know how the traffic in the morning is going to La Mesa on 125 south? 3) Any issues with noise within the complex (either Stoney Creek or Canopypark)?
