agreed. 415 is way to much to be paying for HOA fees on a unit that has too much deferred maintenance…
thanks for everyone’s input…
415 per month isn’t a itemize deduction for my primary residence’s anyways, i will be losing quite a bit in tax deductions.

so do you guys think this park mesa condo is an ok buy if i were to buy it as my primary residence? i m hesistant due to the fact that the 415/month HOA won’t be tax deductible… that a whooping 4980…

i was looking at another property in linda vista on glidden lane, great neighborhood…however the home has a wierd looking backyard, it kinda like theirs no yard b/c it’s the shap of a triangle… the home is surrouned by apt like homes and their is no privacy due to them sitting above you….
6536 Glidden lane, 92111….
what are your thoughts on this property? i think it’s priced well, but the inexistence of a backyard is no bueno

SDisGreatParticipantI have been to the bridges many times and their course is immaculate. I have not seen a nicer greener golf course. I agree the 350k membership is crazy. And it’s tuck 15 mins away from the nearest beach ;((

the purchasing power on $415/month is roughly 60k…
i rather buy a home for 260k w/o hoa fees then pay 200k and $415 a month…
i see other units in sd with 700 hoa and they aren’t even downtown condos…. OUCH…
so what happens when units like these have too many foreclosures and short sales and owners don’t make their monthly dues? i am assuming the currently homeowners have to pick up the monthly losses in increase HOA fees….
