    I lived for about 5 years on top of the Canyon with Black Mountain Rd in the background. I couldn’t wait to move. At night, as the other poster stated, the noise increased exponentially. It wasn’t too hot to use the AC, so I wanted the window open…….I couldn’t deal w/ the noise.

    P.S. for our new place, a major road near the house would have been a deal breaker.

    Also, since you don’t want congrats then welcome to the club & enjoy your new place are in order (as I just moved into our home 2 weeks ago).

    Now the piggs site will turn/morph into a remodel site …lol
