ParticipantYes there is alot of freeway noise. Why would you wanna spend over 400k on a home near the freeway that you will grow out of in a small amount of time?

ParticipantI recall a survey that was being discussed on the Dave Ramsey show. In that survey it showed how people will talk about various topics while clearly avoiding other topics.
The single most avoided topic was debt. Dave went through the list and it was amazing what was said. More people will talk religion, sex, and politics before they will discuss thier debt with you.
So yeah it may be an iceberg story only because the tip is visible but the numbers below it are much more (not less) then what is discussed. Because these instruments are not recorded we have NO CLUE. Nor do any appraisers! Hooray!!!

ParticipantThe home is in decent condition but it does not have a view. The lot is fair sized in terms of usable square footage, (IMO the actual yards for the higher end homes in ER are somewhat marginal) and there is alot of competition. I would refrain from answering the question right now because I had interaction with them. My recommended price to them was lower then what it is listed at. Once it sells or expires or cancels then I will let ya know. Remind me.
