ParticipantI am not so sure that the post was meant to be a prediction post. I think of all the posts FSD and UCGAL where the most I agree with. The main point which evidently was not made well, is that the inventory growth and poor active pending ratios may bode well for many of the submarkets that they are affecting. This is more of a short term prognostication. These are leading indicators that are followed up by pricing a few months later.
Don’t worry we will all be told that it was Bushes fault anyways.

ParticipantI had a listing in Tampico last year that was on the slope you are talking about. Inside the home the road noise was not bad. Outside in the backyard it was pretty noisy. That is a busy street. The home sold very quickly because it was in great condition and showed well. The sellers did not mind the noise at all and I guess the buyers did not. Personally I would not have gotten used to it.

ParticipantCould not agree more about issues with home warranty companies. For major claims they will fight tooth and nail. If the furnace dies and they ask you to send the physical inspection report and you send it and that report notes the furnace was on its last leg then you could have the claim denied.
I would pursue this issue in an alternate matter then relying on the home warranty company.
That is just me though.

ParticipantYou may want to call an HVAC guy to come out to fully inspect the heater. They can also do a carbon monoxide test. I believe SDGE may even do that. However getting an HVAC company out there will provide a more comprehensive inspection and they will be able to back your claim for either a new heater or credit at COE towards a new heater. If there is a carbon monoxide issue then you will have a safety issue and will want to know about that anyways.
