Strict enforcement of tracking downpayment money for seasoning, along with a hard line that you can never borrow more then a given equity amout through seconds and such will also serve to prevent the home from becoming an ATM. UC yes there are more investors at the auctions then there used to be. How many of them are wannabe verses experienced is something that I cannot gauge. Yes every now and then some people buy for their own occupancy. I had 2 different clients who purchased for owner occupancy in the last year.
