I assumed when I bought our house I was flushing our down payment down the toilet. My only wish was the house stand for a year before a massive earthquake so we could at least get one goddamn year in it. I got my wish! A true real estate success story.
I do sometimes fantasize about someday getting our money out maybe a little more but I doubt it will happen, even just on paper. Ever. Not until I am dead and mouldrin’ in my grave.
I feel I’m a smarter housebuyer for reading this board. It may not have changed my opinion on the general scamminess of it all but it’s changed my opinion on certain courses of action.
Thnx. I’m going to need new clothes soon because I’m getting kind of large. I’ve been a strict medium my whole like with a 38 inch chest. I just measured it at 39.5. Mainly it’s my back getting big. I can easily see hitting 42 maybe 44. That would be so fine to toss all my cheap clothes I got off eBay used and start over.
