kids maybe don’t need isolation, but i do personally beleive they shoudl be steeped heavily in your own family culture, whatever that is call it brainwashing if you will.

my wife was laughing about this the other day…she is amazed at how indoctrinated they are in certain of our viewpoints.

i do not oppose states of altered consciousness though. My oldest is extremely good at holding his breath (swam most laps back and forth in the pool on his swim team this year, can’t remember how many yards…that could make your brain weird…) …also encourage extreme natural giddiness…

my position

extremely pro all-drug legalization.

extremely opposed to my kids using any drug esp cigs and booze but definitely weed, and all the rest. Not opposed to black tea (organic).

I’ve explained my position to them in excruciating detail ever since they were tiny. I’m pretty sure they get it.

i don’t get caffeine withdrawal headaches when I stop drinking 10 cups of coffee per day. I just feel like there’s no point to living. then i feel better in a couple days.

I find the more coffee I drink the more I need to drink. I cut myself off from all stimulative measures a week ago and switched to African bush tea. Am I Europe or America?

there’s a decent sized body of research showing prayer actually worsens medical outcomes, when people know they’re being prayed over.

Too much pressure to get better, so they get worse.

That’s why i always ask people not to pray for me.
