Somebody can’t create an import export company that buys drugs for fractions of the price in India and then opens a pharmacy here.
Thank god. As much as people like to take their lives into their own hands buying drugs in Mexico, the simple fact is many countries don’t have the same rigorous chain of custody requirements for drug products the US has. For something in a pressed pill format (i.e. viagara) this is less of an issue than for things like IV drugs that have requirements for storage.Even for pills chain of custody is important to ensure you’re getting what you think you’re getting. Bear in mind that something like half of imported olive oil is fake. If your “olive oil” is actually a cheaper oil… no big deal, right? But if your medicine isn’t what it’s supposed to be? That’s a huge issue.
Olive oil is medicine.
May I recommend tememecula olive oil company oil? Avail online. Grown in aguanga. I’ve seen the operation. It’s the real stuff. Fresh. Date stamped on. I trust them.
Downside. Expensive. 20 bucks for 375ml.
https://www.temeculaoliveoil.com/#I use it anyway…to me it’s worth it. Cheaper than big pharma meds.
Fresh olive oil tastes radically different than generic supermkt oil, like Miller lite v. Pliny the elder

Participant
OT: Can see a day when people between 50-65 marry just to get health insurance. Similar to marrying to get citizenship, except no interviews or hassles.
I can’t find the link but there was a n onlinebusiness doing seemingly sham marriages between u.still. college kids to have them be independent of parents for financial Aid purposes. Maybe it got shut down..

Participant
It’s true that we all hold different opinions on various topics. One person may not agree with another person’s political opinions, while yet another person might not agree with the spiritual opinions of some other person–yet each individual considers his or her opinion valid based upon their own criteria.
As an extreme example–I’ve known people with strong financial opinions, again, based upon their own criteria, who believe that anyone who isn’t a millionaire is simply an incompetent person–and, even though that may be a dumb opinion–you will never convince them of that.
Opinions are definitely a matter of opinion.
I disagree with many of my opinions.

ParticipantNot all opinions are sincerely held. I don’t believe everything I think. Therefore not all opinions are equally valid.
Also, some are dumb.

ParticipantI think it’s not about machismo, but our feelings of inauthenticity.

ParticipantProbably the manner of everything discussed here, from Trump to free range chicken could be categorized as the consciousness of a baby boomer.
I never Really thought of myself as a quintessential baby boomer, but this article persuaded me that both I and Trump are true representatives of our generation.

ParticipantI can assure you this…if you have fish head stew for dinner, and just salads for lunch, even if you eat all u want, you won’t overeat. You’ll just stop. There’s only so much fish head soup a man can eat, even when famished. Portion control through aesthetics.

Participantit’s just too painful to pay extra cash for a discount you might have gotten free in the next couple months, regardless of the math involved. refi with a rebate just feels better.
I did a refi at the for now bottom in early 2013, and if that really is the bottom, yeah, I should’ve paid tax deductible money to get it even a little lower instead of taking a large rebate. yet i dot feel nearly as bad about that possibility of lost gain as I would had i written a large check and rates kept chugging downward, even if the potential gain exceeded the potential loss.
. the problem is it’s just very very difficult to write a check at the time of the refi, and very very easy to accept money, esp. when you can look at a graph and see the trend is down, down down. . i think the psychology of the sales pitch of no cost to refi is just too compelling, even if you crunch various scenarios, plan to stay a long time, and have thought about options…
im not saying it’s a bad pitch. I’m acknowledging its tremendous power, even among the somewhat analytical.
the psychologists tell us that humans are wired much more strongly to have an aversion to losing money than to feel pleasure at gaining money, even if the math says take a risk. we hate losing stuff. it’s probably wired into us evolutionarily. a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, if you’re trying to survive as a proto human on the african savannah plain. or in the jungle of the refi market.

Participantcliches like “it’s impossible to outrun the fork” and ‘abs are made int he kitchen” might be true. moving about it great for a lot of reasons, including gum health, but ultimately, it is so easy to eat the extra calories in literally seconds you may’ve used hours to burn…
also, the whole machine seems to slow down a bit.

ParticipantGum health is not a game. I really want all my teeth. However I may not be marshaling any free will to do this. I may just be going through my pre-wired plan. My gums will be what they will be. Which doesn’t excuse me from making the efforts I am predestined to make.
I think of my gums as accident victims, and that I need to nurse them carefully back to robust health.

Participant
A piece of bread here and there is not a bad thing. I think diets work best if you have a “cheat day” where you can eat what you want. That keeps cravings from getting out of hand.
Even with one cheat day a week, I’ve hit my weight loss goal and actually am struggling to keep weight on.
This is about creating the optimum mouth environment for gum repair, not weight. I’d eat anything if I thought it would help my gums. I’m convinced flour is bad for the mouth. Even one piece irritated my left rear gum.

Love that song.I just keep thinking about how I get to use my free will to eat my share of Challah bread and scaredy’s too ( since he’s all strict and stuff on white flour and sugar).
I like to dip it in pure, and probably not Kosher maple syrup and, have it with copious amounts of coffee.
I did eat one piece of bread in the last 30 days, it was too nice to pass up, came with some soup I ordered. Also I had one order of rice one time. But t hats it. I’ll try to tighten up till July 1.

ParticipantThat’s nothing. If you start brushing with coconut oil, turmeric and neem bark, there will be a yellowish slurry all over the place. I’ve been told to brush my teeth outdoors now, which is actually ok with me.
