Participant
I can’t speak for all Boomers, and, fortunately I don’t know any of the type that have been described by other posters, but I’m sure many Boomers fulfill the negative definitions that have been posted here, just as many Millenials fulfill the negative definitions many hold about them.
That said, I can only speak for the lifestyle my friends and family embrace, which is one that puts family, friends and other chosen priorities first (and, believe me, none of my children ran the streets of Rancho Santa Fe when they were being raised here); created multiple sources of passive of income at a very early age, so we have been able to spend our time as we choose most of our lives–doing the things that are most important to us without financial concern–as well as creating a legacy for our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, etc.–all without long commutes, or becoming needy, and with more love than we could ever want if we were to live to be a thousand.
you cannot create a legacy for great grandchildren unborn, if i recall. something about the rule against perpetuities…all we can do is hope the next generation doesnt blow it..
.weve had the rule against perpetuities for hundreds of years…but these millenials probably think its a fluid concept. crazy kids…
the rule states: “No interest is good unless it must vest, if at all, not later than twenty-one years after the death of some life in being at the creation of the interest.”
but im not an estate lawyer. rule is probably different in calif. see a specialist 4 details….

Participanttheyre also really against slut shaming.
im neutral to pro slut shaming, a relic of a bygone pre amy schumer period. actually, the entirety of all covilization, except for a few free love hippies and i think some strange 1800s religious cults. but this “slut shaming is sexist” is new.
its related to fluid gender roles, i think…

Participant

they seem to reject the idea of “gender”, and believe it is fluid, for starters.
?? Excuse me? Gender like male and female? fluid…what?
yep. Half of Millennials Believe Gender Isn’t Just Male Or Female.
57 perc of 18 to 34 y.o. women said gender exists on a spectrum (that is to say, fluid, or not fixed).
crazy, man…
im old. i think men and women are fundamentally different, and that difference really matters. if that makes me grampa simpson, so be it. i just feel like that sentiment, that men and womenen are more alike than different, is new, different and …. not reality…

stealing and hitting are nonconsensual. assume consent with all of the rich powerful guys partners..like say for instance loads of women will fuck trump just to get close to power, and he only grabs the pussies of those powerseekers. why is that morally wrong of him to do?
is ot “unnatural”?
You started out saying ‘If most men could have sex with any woman . . . ” – so far we haven’t talked about the idea that anyone would have sex with Trump (Eeew, by the way). There are lots of gold diggers, but most women wouldn’t sleep with him, I don’t think.
“NASA just released a statement that if we laid them head to toe, the number of women willing to sllep with me, right now, would go to the moon and back to earth. its true. its true. they love me. i smell like money. most powerful aphrodisiac known to makind”.
donald trump, 9/16/16.

Participantmmmm. i dissent.
i think trump is a harbinger of something bad brewing…funnelling some bad energy out there. not him …hes just a goofball…but tapping into something ugly…
his sexual desires and grossness are all irrelevant. im sad that people are pissed enough to support him

i think yourr right on there. its not the act. its understood its nature. its something to do with marriage. or maybe its the sheer reliance on wealth, with no physical attractiveness, that makes it feel so ugly.
being one of 1000 women who slept with clooney sounds like a good story to tell. being one of 1000 women who slept with trump feels gross, and maybe like you should sue him.
It’s because he’s personified to be a real douche bag and known to take advantage of others misfortunes. If you slept with him, it’s probably because he took advantage of your drunken state. Meanwhile, Clooney and Jeter are personified to be classy gentleman. They are not known to cheat on their wives and girlfriends and Jeter at least leaves a signed baseball and flowers on the nightstand.
if trump left flowrrs and a signed copy of THE ART OF THE DEAL, theyd call him a douchebag for that

Participantmmm. i think even a landslide gives him 40 percent of all of us…and his higher numbers previously still point to major discontent. how can they be so unhappy in our greatest of all time society?
unless maybe …its not…

Participantand yet, there is the pesky problem that nearly half the country supports trump, which indicates to me that they are pissed off, unhappy and think their lives, their deal, their society sucks.
so maybe it does suck…at least 4 them.
make america great again…
means they are not liking it now..

Participant

it sounds like its not the act itself, but the hypocrosy that is troubling u
Personally I could care less, but public opinion would probably deem hypocrisy and cheating on your wife less desirable traits in a human and president. The public doesn’t hate Derek Jeter or George Clooney for sleeping around with numerous women…but they did hate Tiger Woods for quite some time.
