i think the bototm line is nobody wants their kids hanging out with poor people. most people want the richer people –of any color. But not poor people. My wife disagrees. She says there can be all kinds of problems regardless of income level. Yeah, well, play the odds. Percentage-wife, things are going to be a bit crazier andout of control int he poorer area. Things are likely to run smoother where the money is. I’ve always hated living in poorer areas.

i think i disagree in this sense; i don’t think it will generally be effective in spreading information, as people don’t really want to get actual information. but it may be effective in spreading panic. I think there’s a case to be made that it will accentuate the downturn and make people more fearful to jump in.

I don’t even own a tv. i just live int he world and talk to humans and observe. i don’t even listen to the radio. i see the local paper. we live in denial too. Everyone pretends to be ok. it’s not ok. we are crazed.

except, actually in reality, y’know, I’m pretty happy. I kinda have a good time most of the time. Still, I hate pretending that everything’s ok.
