Participant

i will pay 25 percent more for usa made reproduction of vintage american clothing than japanese made reproductions of american clothing.
however, i want a lexus.
Scaredy, your shopping habits are so liberal elitist.
interesting fact…japan bought our usa vintage looming machines many years ago when much faster looms were invented.. only japan can make true vintage loopwheeled material for sweatshirts. the machines are slow but produce authentic feel. THE FABRIC IS EXPENSIVE. my grey loopwheeled sweatshirt was $225.00. but what can i do? wear chinese crap???
we sold those beautiful slow old machines and now buy material made by lightning fast new looms in china. all garbage, a mountain of garbage!!!
MAGA. i say we go repatriate our old loopwheel looms from japan, before they get nukes. they have a dangerous monopoly on old loopwheel technology.
Similar problem with denim.
sad.

Participanti buy one very weird imported product. japan makes obsessively detailed reproductions of vintage american clothes. i buy that. i think theyre awesome. stuff is way too expensive.
theres also a placed called MISTER FREEDOM which is so awesome. started by a french dude, he imports japanese reproductions of vintage clothing. but some is made in USA. he currently has a shirt made with authentic vintage madras cloth made in usa for $230. i need that. if youre in west hollywood, the store is absolutely gorgeous… you dont have to be gay to love this place…
the prices are humorous, but i think its worth it.
the trumpean argument to bring back obsessive vintage american sportswear reproduction jobs to the USA is actually pretty compelling.
also campari. where are the american made bitter liqueurs? where?

Participantlest we forget lengthy weed sentences in our lifetime, dr timothy leary got 20 years!!! case involved heavy quantity, not one but two marihuana “roaches”.

“On December 26, 1968, Leary was arrested again in Laguna Beach, California, this time for the possession of two marijuana “roaches”. Leary alleged that they were planted by the arresting officer, but was convicted of the crime. On Ma 1969, The Supreme Court concurred with Leary in Leary v. United States, declared the Marihuana Tax Act unconstitutional, and overturned his 1965 conviction.[69]
On that same day, Leary announced his candidacy for Governor of California against the Republican incumbent, Ronald Reagan. His campaign slogan was “Come together, join the party.” On June 1, 1969, Leary joined John Lennon and Yoko Ono at their Montreal Bed-In, and Lennon subsequently wrote Leary a campaign song called “Come Together”.[70]
On January 21, 1970, Leary received a 10-year sentence for his 1968 offense, with a further 10 added later while in custody for a prior arrest in 1965, for a total of 20 years to be served consecutively. On his arrival in prison, he was given psychological tests used to assign inmates to appropriate work details. Having designed some of these tests himself (including the “Leary Interpersonal Behavior Test”), Leary answered them in such a way that he seemed to be a very conforming, conventional person with a great interest in forestry and gardening.[71]”

“The Mexican Connection
In the early 1900s, the western states developed significant tensions regarding the influx of Mexican-Americans. The revolution in Mexico in 1910 spilled over the border, with General Pershing’s army clashing with bandit Pancho Villa. Later in that decade, bad feelings developed between the small farmer and the large farms that used cheaper Mexican labor. Then, the depression came and increased tensions, as jobs and welfare resources became scarce.
One of the “differences” seized upon during this time was the fact that many Mexicans smoked marijuana and had brought the plant with them, and it was through this that California apparently passed the first state marijuana law, outlawing “preparations of hemp, or loco weed.”
However, one of the first state laws outlawing marijuana may have been influenced, not just by Mexicans using the drug, but, oddly enough, because of Mormons using it. Mormons who traveled to Mexico in 1910 came back to Salt Lake City with marijuana. The church’s reaction to this may have contributed to the state’s marijuana law. (Note: the source for this speculation is from articles by Charles Whitebread, Professor of Law at USC Law School in a paper for the Virginia Law Review, and a speech to the California Judges Association (sourced below). Mormon blogger Ardis Parshall disputes this.)”

Education level attained has nothing to do with one’s genes.
I think there is strong corelation between education and intelligence. It’s one of the objective measures…. better than taking a chance on an unknown.
in the venn diagram involving 2 circles, one circle including all the educated people and one circle including all the genetically intelligent people (“GIP”), there is probably a good deal of overlap. of course there will be plenty of GIP outside the educated circle
if u narrow down the educated circle, to say, just lawyers from harvard law school, there are going to be pretty much all GIP from that circle. probably 100 % overlap.
so in sum, im going to need a better definition of what educated means.
then we can argue about what GIP means.
then we can argue about whether AG Sessions is in either circle.
by the way ive changed my position on legalizing marijuana. i want it highly criminalized and hope sessions starts filling fed. prisons with marijuana dope fiends.
first, its good for lawyer business. more cases. also will generate lots of work, providing reasonable sup. for searches, etc.
second, it helps undermine peoples blind faith in prosecutors. when prosecutor’s start going all reefer madness, the public understands that law enforcement is not only not infallible, it can sometimes be downright retarded. that is good in terms of slowing the march to a,police state.
.
so bring it on. stomp on the states laws. criminalize the hell out of weed. i can see the bight side of it. go trump. appoint more socially retarded people to power.scaredyclassic
Participantits important to control the narrative.
i declare victory.

Participantmaybe the solution is to raise out of state tuition to levels that produce a profit and can subsidize expansion for CA students.
why not $120k a year for out of state tuition. or 175k for foreigners? or hell, 250k a year for uc, 219k for cal state? if theyre loaded, whats the difference? at the very least it should cost the same as a top pvt school. we should find outvwhat the market will bear maybe we can find 500 chinese people who will pay 2 million each for a degree. is a billion enough to run the whole shebang?
wait…similar to bidding up property prices, we can auction off a set number of uc seats worldwide, no min. qualification. pay all 4 yrs upfront. no refund if u fail out, grade foreigners on a curve and kick out 1/3 of the class every year!! haha! like old school law schools!! then we can find out exactly what its worth.
ebay.
im guessing its well over 100k a year. why in the hell would we charge less than they are willing to pay????
if each chinese dude was ponying up 2 million for a degree, maybe we could give scholarships to everyone….
make it illegal for student visa holders to pay less than 500k a year to study here in ca, so pvt schools cant compete on price. thats what it costs, baby. pay to play…

“romantic entanglements with women fail a cost–benefit analysis and risk–benefit analysis.”
in general, probably true for the majority of men.
it is very risky husiness. life can be good, often much better, without a,woman. i would not advise my kids to join with any woman i thought was not a financial positive. i wouldnt yell at them. but id preach mgtow, at least until they found a deal that looked good.
