ParticipantOr that too (sorry about the Paddyoh). Nothing wrong with your approach either. No harm in people letting him know their thoughts on the matter.

Rt.66
ParticipantPADDYHO in the past two weeks I’ve come across two individuals looking to buy a new car. Both were shopping Japanese brands. When I asked them if they had considered an American brand they both looked at me with an odd look and basically asked “why would I do that”. No shit. I like both these people and they were not responding in any kind of US cars suck way; they just never put any thought into it.
It never occurred to them that they could support America in a time of great trouble. Also neither knew that American cars rank amongst the top most well built, affordable, reliable and economical cars on the market. I told them where to go to see the data and told them a bit about some American models.
Neither of them were offended, quite the opposite, they thought I had introduced them to something worthwhile.
Anyway, I think what you are doing will, at the very least, bring attention to this issue and get people who otherwise would not go look at Chevy or Ford, to do so.
I think you may have more success with Jeff by starting an Email campaign to Disney Studios. Tell people to let Disney know that they will not go to the theatre or video rental store to see Tron 2.0 or any other Bridges movie. Speak with your wallet and people will start to listen.
If Jeff wants to do those commercials that’s his right, if we don’t want to blow $13 seeing his movies then it’s our right to get our message across in that manner. Just a thought.

ParticipantSiliCON valley, home and birthplace of the tech bubble scam of fake GDP and jobs. Great example of what America has to offer.
