ParticipantI don’t get the hostility towards such a debate. Would it not just bring out into the open for all to see the radical views of Rush? What is it those who would oppose such a debate are afraid of? Seeing both for who they are?

As an a strong opposer of his policies and upon reflection of a lot of his appointments since he has taken power I can not say the McCain/Palin would have done worse. Don’t have the same magic 8 ball you may have. My pick would have been Romney but hey, it did not work out that way.
You can speculate all you want about what McCain and Palin WOULD have done, I will base my desicions about Obama on what he HAS done.
I guess “us people” would say something if we were being kicked in the nuts, not just take it because the other guy MIGHT kick us in the head.
