Rich ToscanoKeymasterHi Jasper — The Case-Shiller index does not include the “sale” when the lender takes over a foreclosed home. However, it does count the later sale of that home (as an REO) on the open market.
Same goes for the monthly data rodeo, including price/sqft, sales, and inventory, which are all based on MLS resales. The trustee sale won’t show up there, but an REO that is sold on the market will, assuming the latter goes thru the MLS.

Rich ToscanoKeymasterExcellent… I’m glad it wasn’t something more complicated. π
Thanks for the followup; I will post something on the front page so people know to do this.

Rich ToscanoKeymasteresmith, I suspect this is a coincidence as the timing of the OP’s problems coincides perfectly with my caching system installation.
Folks who are having a problem do me a favor and try this:
First, actually log out and then log back in again (You were never logged out in the first place, but were just erroneously shown the cached version of the page that is usually shown to logged out users.)
If it keeps happening, please let me know if you have a cookie called DRUPAL_UID set for piggington.com. If you have this cookie, you shouldn’t have a problem. I am hoping that the problem is that you didn’t have the cookie before, but that the logging out/back in will set it for you.
Email rich at piggington if you need more info.

UPDATE – PS – you have to allow cookies from piggington.com or you will continue having this problem.

Rich ToscanoKeymasterI installed a new caching system yesterday to improve site performance. This is surely it; I will look into it.
BTW it’s more helpful to email me about stuff like this than to post a forum thread because I don’t always see the latter.
