ParticipantRegarding having 2 jobs and taxes, I cannot quite understand the tax system on this one. As SD Realtor, I have 1 full time job and 1 part time job.
As explained to me by my accountant:
The first job (full time) eats up the lower tax rate. Somehow, I pay 40% taxes on the second lower earning job.Hypothetically, if I got a raise at the full time job to equal the gross earnings of the part time job, then my full time tax bracket might increase, but not to 40%.
So, unless the second job pays really well, it may not be worth the time/effort.

I agree. It is lack of attention to detail, and certainly is a red flag (check EVERYTHING with these people….).
