The guy likely has some OCD disorder. But, that does not make him bad, just makes him a little “eccentric” as people like to say. I say, so what? He is freaking out about every penny, and has no interest in fixing his house. It has no importance to him. Apparently, numbers matter much to him, but actual possessions don’t give him “self esteem” “self worth” and all of that good stuff.
I agree with Scaredy…purchasing things gives me little satisfaction, unless I find a great deal at Big Lots. No kidding. Love that store. However, a nice dinner or a vacation in Maui makes all the difference. It is all about priorities.
