ParticipantThe low 600’s is just wishful thinking on my part. Anything in the high 700’s with a decent lot is well worth it. It’s just out of my range for now. If I had the money I would have probaby purchased a home during the last phase of Davidson’s Scripps Preserve. Localguy bought during that phase. I also would have joined sdseeker at Viscaya. Congrats to both of you and hopefully some day I can become your neighbor.

ParticipantThe buyer got a really good deal on Greenstone. I think the owners/flipper for Shadetree needs the higher end of the listing to make money and at least 1.1mil to break even. If only I could find something like these homes in the lower 600’s. I guess I will just have to dream for now and save money and wait for the next shoe to fall.

ParticipantForeclosureradar has 24 homes over 3500sqft in preforeclosure/forclosure @ Stonebridge. This the most that I have seen since looking at future inventory in Scripps Ranch. I wonder what type of impact this will have if any in the next 6 months.

Participant7635 Seattle is scheduled for Trustees sale on 1/5/10. Maybe this is why they are in a hurry to get an offer in. I’m not sure the Bank will go for this price. There are also 7 more Serramar homes in either pre-forclosure or forclosure with dates set for Trustees. So far most of the homes that have gone to forclosure or sold short have been non-view homes. I can’t wait for the view homes to start selling. Most of these homes have very limited upgrades because the builder charged for everything.
