ParticipantI just moved $250K out of Wachovia on Friday. They did eveything in their powers to stop me. It was embarrasing and a little scary. I’ve banked at Wachovia for two years and hardly evey saw anyone in the banks. Yesterday they had several people walking around greeting people and asking about good service, etc….
They are scared, no two ways about it!!
I bet that the smaller banks will be allowed to fail as we’re seeing now. Downey is a prime candidate. But you never know, Wamu and Wachovia may be as well.

I guess we can count on the printing machine to get us back into inflation. But I think it’s going to just buy us stagflation. Devaluing the US$, while the economy just sits there.
