ParticipantMost people are sheep that need the shepherd to feed and guide them every day. Look aruond at most people today. They have no supply of food or money to fall back upon in hard times. They’re in a position of servitude and thus, must behave according to the govt. edicts.
Sure it’s gonna get a lot worse. People are gonna live 10 to a house, work when they can. It’s called a depression. Probably what we need financially and morally anyway. But there’s plenty of dough out there. The best things in life are free and we’re gonna find this out the hard way. But it’s about time.peterb

ParticipantSpend a little time and money and read Bob Hoye and Marc Faber. I’ve followed them for several years and they are both pretty accurate predictors of the future for markets. Equities look bad for 2009. But I dont know how active you want to be in this market. It’s volitile as hell right now.
