ParticipantIf you really cant help yourself, check out GDX. This is cheap and should do well in this recession as this sector usually does after a credit bubble bursts. I’ve bought some today myself. But this is looking to be the worst Xmas season in decades. So, you’re warned. November could be a bloodbath.

ParticipantTemeculaguy makes a very good point here!! This is a huge thing to happen “outta nowhere”. So I doubt very much there’s not some gigantic gotcha associated with it in the details. It’s a loan contract! Casual talk means nothing regarding contracts.

ParticipantI believe the phrase is “boooo-Yaaaa”. He has quite an impressive educational pedigree. So I guess that goes to show you where the smartest guy thinks the real easy money is located….books and endorsements and stupid TV shows. Go figure!
ElliottWave says 9800 on the DOW maybe the top for this rally. So some sideways action is healthy right now. I think 10,200 is not out of the question. Please, oh please, have this rally continue until mid-November!!! That would be perfect for cheap January puts!!

ParticipantStocksradr- i use Etrade and really like their screens as well. General lay out and access to data, too. I just port money out of it when the level goes to high. That’s all ya need to do. Leave in what you trade. Unless you’re doing some margin stuff, very dangerous in this environment, IMO.
