ParticipantIf the HELOC was essentially a second mortgage used to purchase the home, it should be considered part of the purchase money loan package. Purchase money loans are non-recourse in CA. By law, I believe.

ParticipantOur country has 65% of the population in home ownership. That’s called a “majority”. Both politicians and MSM talking-heads know the golden rule is to NEVER tell the majority something it does not want to hear.
That’s why the odds of getting a real “fair and balanced” analysis of anything nowadays requires researching not only on your own, but also outside of MSM.peterb

ParticipantIt’s all relative. If you’re not my relative, you’re trouble.
It’s socioeconomic far more than it’s race or color based. There just happens to be a high correlation between having money and being a certain race. For your better all-white schools, visit West Virginia.

ParticipantIt sounds like a decent home in Temecula is going for about $90 to $100/sqft? If this is correct, then time will tell.
My thesis is that 2009 will be an absolutely terrible year for CA real estate. I’ll check back in about this time next year for an update. -
