ParticipantI heard on the radio a few days ago that the biggest Italian car dealer in the USA closed-up shop. They were in OC and I think it was a Lamborgini shop. The super wealthy can weather just about any storm and not change their life style one iota. But there are about 10,000 of them in the US. So unless they are a client for whatever you happen to provide, you’re probably not outta the woods. Too bad they dont all live in the same town.

ParticipantI got a decent Dell laptop three years ago and I am using it right now. Cost my $550. I keep looking and have not found it any cheaper. What’s up with that?

ParticipantFletch. I think it wise to give this a year or two in order to determine how ugly it will get. There’s so much govt intervention and lack of transparency that things are unfolding in waves of bad news. My guess is that it’s pretty bad, and the powers-that-be are trying to keep the melt down as orderly as possible to avoid chaos. But, it’s a melt down nonetheless. Save your cash, eliminate debt, spend quality time with your kids. It’s old school and it works. Time to get back to what’s real anyway.
