ParticipantHome prices are geared to wages and available credit. 2002 to 2007 was about the biggest credit expansion in history, not wage increases. So now that we’re seeing credit implode, prices are going with it. More foreclosures are coming from being upside down and growing unemployment. Credit card implosion is happening right now. Bottom, no way!

ParticipantI wondered when this would start to come off the MSM. Timing is everything. One thing many of these “analysts” dont calculate into their analysis is that the govt allows $250K cap gains profit with no tax after 2 years of occupation. That’s a 25% boost in CA right there. And what other investment allows this??? Of course, it needs to be increasing in value…..

ParticipantWhenever I’ve sold a house to a couple, the woman really was the decision-maker. Single women own way more homes than single men. They want to own even when it may not make any financial sense. As now. Be careful here. The company is paying for rent and the market is going down hill. Save money and wait.
