We live in a world where fraud and stealing have become accepted and even encouraged ways of life. It is all sold in the name of the greater good. If you try to convince some older folks (I tried to convince my mom) that this is happening and is quite common they won’t even believe you. This country is certainly a shell of what it was and perhaps it is better for people who lived through the times when most folk just wanted to make an honest living be kept in the dark regarding what we have become.

Prior to that I made several offers. More than one later closed at less than what I had offered.”Although i have not tried this myself, I know people who have. In many cases, going directly to the listing agent has paid huge dividends. Honestly I don’t think cash is that big of an advantage if you are going to bring your own buyer’s agent (it really hasn’t given me the slightest advantage). I think the frustrated buyers are the ones working with the traditional buyer’s agents. Nevertheless I’m staying loyal for now.

I agree. Here is one on the same street as you mentioned. The house isn’t fancy but all in all I think the buyer got a decent deal.

It sold well under ’04 pricing. Can you find a deal like that now? Probably not. Maybe this fall …
