Participant1) Modern lockup trransmissions are really close to a manual in efficiency
2) Paddle shifters and shift control lets me do what i need, when I want to play with the ratios.
3) an automatic is needed if you spend any time in traffic, a manual will work you to death. There is a reason Cabbies won’t do manuals.

Lastly, I’m not sure if I could cut it in the CA job market. A lot more of the jobs require letters after your name, whereas the attitude here is that if you can do it and have good references, you’ll get paid to do it.
It doesn’t require a PhD to steal, which is what 90% of the NYC Metropolitan economy is based upon

Facebook isn’t going to get delisted. It’s current quarter earnings notwithstanding, it is still making money. It has value. The problem is not primarily an internal problem, it’s an external problem. It has real value. But it’s over-valued. Somewhere along the line they are likely to figure out how to monetize what they have, and they may even become worth their IPO price. But until then, they’re a fabulously well capitalized (possibly the best ever) company.
perhaps but you seem to be discounting the click fraud scandal.
if it’s real, FB revenue number collapses, given they spend 75% of their revenue, they will have to either slash salary or spending. I don’t see them buying ads, so it’s got to be internl spending.

Participanthttp://www.zerohedge.com/news/teenbook-fb-drops-under-20-first-time-ever
facebook falls below into the teens.
F ninaprincess had $20K, now she has 10k and the stock hasn’t even hit lockup.
I suspect that a lot of options holders are now underwater, and people with restricted shares will try and dump now before it goes tits up.
if FB is faking it’s revenue with bots and is in free fall it could end up a penny stock.

Participanti have had good luck finding inspectors from ASHI american society home instpectors.
I usually also hire two. While one can fuck up, two rarely will.
300, 400K purchse, what’s an extre 300 dollars?
now that said, i’m also willing to hire a mold inspector, lead inspector,
and I am able to do electrical inspection.I want the home inspector to look for structural/envelope issues, i’ll check out the systems myself.

ParticipantI”m not sure where you are coming from?
Do you think Public buildings should be Quonset huts?
I have no problem with Public INfrastructure being built on a “Monumental” basis and with long design lifes come real value in elegant design.
(One is the old library, one is the new library)
the same goes for schools, Fire stations, Police stations,,,
If i am going to have to look at something for a very long time it may as well be a very nice thing to look at.
Which do you prefer to look at the Golden Gate Bridge or

ParticipantIn most states a credit debt not collected on in 3 years goes invalid, I suspect a 20 year old parking ticket is past statute of limitations, however it may cost a lawyer to fight it.
In the old days it would not matter but now it’s all databases and proof.

ParticipantI bought off the H ST corridor last year, and it’s a transition zone.
A little more crime then I like and too many ghetto types but it’s changing. We see moms with kids, and that’s a big step up.
I’d worry more about a decline again if the rates rise or defense spending gets slashed.
The Iraq war is in it’s death throes and Afghanistan is downspiraling.
I think even Obama will recognize it’s over soon enough.
