ParticipantI have a 40-45 min commute, but then I also carpool which helps tremendously. Could be a lot worse.
Just depends on where one works – the 56 would be my cut off point.
And it doesn’t hurt that I’m commuting in The Ultimate Driving Machine.

ParticipantOk, back to earth now…
If OP lives in Harveston, I can understand wanting to move.
Harveston is the result of a City Council ran by developers.
Harveston was a poorly planned community IMO, to densely packed with homes. Close to the freeway and the sewage treatment plant (when the wind blows just right).
IMO Harveston is more Murrieta than Temecula.
Moving to Temecula (city)? Stay south of Rancho California.

You have every right to feel however you feel about a certain geographic location for whatever reasons you may have.
Wow, thank you. My wife and I just read this together and it touched us. We definitely learned our lesson and will not make the same mistake again. We are going to be more patient with the San Diego housing market the next time around. Have a great night!
Wow, the insults just keep coming. Yes, you have every right to feel and express yourself, but so do others.
Don’t be surprised that when you insult an entire city of 125,000+ people – either passively or actively – that they might take issue with your insults – as I do.
Call me a hypocrite if you must, but then again my time in Temecula is measured in decades, not months.

Participant

I think the OP might be a troll, seriously.
The thread title was essentially unrelated to the question…
A shock value title for the following question: Should I sell if I’ve occupied my house for less than 2 years.
I’m sorry you are so bothered by my post.
I wonder why you are so defensive?Thank you to everyone who has given helpful advice for my real life situation.
It’s an antagonistic initial post, simple as that…
Is this marion by chance?
Sort of liking starting a thread on a sports car forum: BMW Sucks
How can I trade in my BMW for an Audi?

ParticipantIf you owned a monopoly, wouldn’t you want to keep prices low?
Otherwise you invite competition.

ParticipantI was in SEH about a month ago looking at new houses, you basically had to sign up for a lottery (via a mortgage approval process)to buy their stupid house.
screw that…

Wow.
Come on people, let’s keep it real.
Temecula ain’t that bad, and San Diego ain’t that great.
Temecula: So Cal weather, Texas prices.

Participant
Jumping Jeebus Xhrist on a unicycle, just say it; maybe people from Temecula would actually be able to help rather than being offended.
+1
Seriously…
I thought Temecula was covered pretty well here, at least by me IMO.
It’s hard for me to imagine what could be a major issue that hasn’t already been stated.
What is it – the rednecks/low class local/yocals?
paramount
ParticipantDid you request and get an initial pre-move out inspection?
paramount
ParticipantI’m not happy about this thread, it’s bad PR.
Please, tell us what your major issue is with Temecula.
The weather has been great so far this summer…

ParticipantI had posted some details on my loan, the bottom line is that they wanted me to do a cash-in refi. I close on my refi tomorrow, but overall I thought their costs were about the same as Wells Fargo.

ParticipantThe upside to a new tenant is repricing – hopefully up.
I also wonder if the lease does revert month-to-month, do all other terms of the lease remain in effect?
