Texas Children’s Hospital will accept adults- cant tell if this is precautionary or the medical systems are at capacity.
If the latter is the case it is imperative they stop testing for covid immediately!outtamojoParticipantTurns out the shake shack incident was really, really embellished.

You worry too much…Worst case is Trump gets term limited out.
Well, I definitely worry too much.
But, in this case, I think 4 1/2 more years of trump and the irreparable damage to our country that it could cause is legitimately worrisome. Just having RBG replaced by another Kavanaugh is pretty terrifying. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Yes, the 6-3 ruling was a pleasant surprise. Hoping (but not thinking) that kind of thing keeps happening.
Apparently China would prefer a trump reelection for the long term damage he does to America’s world standing. Absolutely amazing and sad that America could be dumb enough to elect him twice.
outtamojoParticipant

I think the problems people are focusing on are distractions to avoid dealing with the real issues in front of us. Overpopulation…
Josh
I am continually amazed at how many of the “save the planet” folks do not even MENTION overpopulation, or at least population growth.
That is the one thing that will do the most to preserve the planet in the long term, and the one thing that never leaves their lips.
This is a typical “they-don’t-talk-about-that” argument to dismiss man made climate change as an issue we need to deal with. “They don’t talk about that. They’ re talking about a lot of other things, but they don ‘t talk about that.”
It’s also an all-or-nothing argument where “until we deal with population, we can’t talk about climate change”.
In fact, there are lots of old and new technologies we can implement to have a positive impact. First off, provide birth control to all citizens of the world. That’s very easy to do, we just need the political will.
Actually “they” DO talk about it.

outtamojoParticipantThere has to be enough cops that are willing to change.
Vote out the union leaders if they don’t represent you in an acceptable manner.
Don’t ratify the contract that allows bad apples to prosper.
If there are enough of them.
If there aren’t that means there are more than a “few bad apples ” more like over 50% or somethingouttamojoParticipantouttamojoParticipantFixed the middle east, tamed the coronavirus, now to fix the police

The rot runs deep but the good cops should vote to accept reform in their next union contract. Should be easy if in fact they are the majority.
