ParticipantFLU:
We have a basic 2001 Dodge Caravan. We bought it a couple of years ago with 50k miles on it. We have had no problems with it . Mechanic said earlier models had motor or tranny problems but that this one would be fine. In any case I would rather risk something like that than spend more for a car.
On topic: Maybe after I replace my transistor radio I can start working on one of those Hi depth T.V’s with a real Betamax recorder, maybe Sony:).NotCranky

ParticipantJust a thought,
Maybe a good number of people are going on pre BK binges? I don’t know much about BK. I know a person who did this about 10 years ago. He remodeled his house on credit cards for which he fudged his income to get. He knew just the right amount to run the cards up. I think it was 65K. He homesteaded his house, volunteered to get laid off from his job and did the BK.NotCranky

ParticipantFLU: We bought a mini-van for the family. Maybe it doesn’t have the safety you are looking for but the design makes perfect sense, the large sliding doors on both sides especially. Maybe there is an SUV with sliding doors? I imagine we would have dinged 50 cars if it were not for the sliding doors. 3 kids can sit on one bench so we have room for grammy an pop pop. We remove one bench for trips and have lots of room for stuff.
Disclaimer: Mine is not for sale.NotCranky

Participant“Why do you find it a vulgarity in refering to someone’s 60 inch TV?”
Homophbia has ruined the old standard for “manliness” which was to compare penis sizes. Now we compare T.V. sizes so it constitutes the new vulgarity, full of envy. BTW my TV is not nearly 60 inches but I have fathered 3 children, all boys I might add, so I feel O.K. about it. Oh yeah my T.V is not flat either. I mean how manly is a flat TV?

ParticipantMakes sense Drunkle. Maybe you have worked with one of those “three showings get the ink flowing” kind of agents before.Hold on to that beat stick of yours and when/if you are ready to work with a third party on buying a property let them know it is specifically used for getting all the information that they feel “put out” about dishing up.
