I offered $50. Dumping charge at Miramar landfill is $20 and I don’t have a pick-up. So let’s see if anyone takes the offer.
ninaprincessParticipantAfter rakes and tips to the dealer, you need a lot of skills.

ninaprincessParticipantThey made such a big fuss cutting approximately 5% of the deficit spendings ($65 bil per year compared to $1100 bil deficit spendings). We are in so much trouble.
I was hoping for the fiscal cliff to happen. Cutting 10% of the government is a good starting point. I work for the government and I think laying off 20% of the most lazy peopole in my group would not affect productivity at all.
ninaprincessParticipantPlay online part-time and don’t quit your full-time job. Even if you make enough money, do you think the gambler is good role model for their children? Plus you hang out with bad desperate people too much and you will bring yourself down to their level. How about the social stigma? I personally can’t trust any serious gambler. Being a professional gambler is not that easy.

November 29, 2012 at 7:48 AM in reply to: OT: Luckily we taxed Amazon so they bring jobs here! #755444ninaprincessParticipantYes, I do have Amazon Prime. In addition to the Free Shipping, you also get Instant Videos and Most Importantly you can borrow one Free E-book a month.

I thought I would quit buying from Amazon if they collect Tax. But no, I am still buying from Amazon. It is too convenient.
I totally agree it’s so convenient. Last year I tried the Amazon Prime where you pay less than $99 and you get unlimited free 2 day shipping.
It’s hard to believe they can make money with people that get very low cost items delivered all the time.
It’s so darn easy to order stuff and many times they overnight things vs. 2 day shipping and it’s totally free. Like yesterday the tire pressure light went on in my SUV. I ordered a $10 tire pressure gauge and it is arriving tomorrow. No shipping.
I order tons of smaller items and can’t beat not having to drive to the store to pick it up. Amazon just makes it too easy. Especially with the Amazon Prime Membership and the free 2 day shipping.
ninaprincessParticipantI already have a Blu Ray player in the living room. For this second TV, I just want a thin TV on the wall, with no speakers, blu-ray or roku player attached.
I will check out Costco today and the websites you have suggested. Thank you.

November 15, 2012 at 3:09 PM in reply to: Am I refinancing too many times? Any reason why I shouldn’t refinance? #754751ninaprincessParticipantI will refinance. Thank you for your advice.
November 12, 2012 at 3:18 PM in reply to: Am I refinancing too many times? Any reason why I shouldn’t refinance? #754533ninaprincessParticipantOriginal Balance: $352,000, 3.875%, 1655.23 payment.
Current Principal Balance $346,062
Loan Set up in March but I have made some small principal reductions.November 12, 2012 at 1:06 PM in reply to: Am I refinancing too many times? Any reason why I shouldn’t refinance? #754490ninaprincessParticipantIf I still owe $348000 with 3.875% and $1655 monthly payment and refiance again at 3.375% and still making the same original payment of $1655 how many less # of payment will I make? Or how much of today’s money do I save? The math is too difficult. Do you have a program for this?
November 12, 2012 at 12:59 PM in reply to: Am I refinancing too many times? Any reason why I shouldn’t refinance? #754487ninaprincessParticipantSorry, I meant 3.375%.
ninaprincessParticipantFYI, I didn’t buy Facebook after reading the discussions. However, I bought 330 shares of Neflix at around $60 last week. Already gained about 10%. I might buy FB when it is around $10 after the lockup period in November.

I could find some sources but I don’t need to. I can’t imagine the income of people picking fruits, wash dishes, clean hotel rooms, stand around home depots are high.#2
41 percent of all Mexicans between ages 16 and 19 in the city [of NY] have dropped out of school, according to census data.
This is for all Mexicans, legal and illegal. I am sure the dropout percentage of illegal only is higher.

The children of illegal immigrants accounted for 8 percent of all babies, even though those immigrants are about 4 percent of the adult population.
