ParticipantI have spent sometime on learning from websites such as Bluebook of Piano. I often encounter the message like “buy the best piano you can afford”…Also I heard that because the mechanical difference between the keyboard and piano, playing the keyboard actually can do bad to the hands of piano playing in a long run.
I have to admit, if it is for myself, I can easily put off such expensive purchase. But since it is for son, I kind of feeling guilty if I could afford it but didn’t buy.

ParticipantHi Everyone,
It’s been a hectic week. I had to stay in hospital day and night. Thanks for so much helpful information, especially to Diego Mamani. I believe that should be very helpful.
Here is the update. The hospital cost is over $30K. Not sure about the bills from the labs and doctors yet. The financial consultant from the hospital estimated the 3 weeks rehab cost would be $200K to $300k. During consulting, she asked about my father’s insurance (no insurance here), his asset, income and if my father has any life insurance that he can withdraw money from. The answers sure was disappointing to her. I asked about to take my father home for care, she said the doctor has to see if my father is out of the critical condition to release him. The plan was to go to the rehab unit in the hospital. so I thought that my father had to stay in hospital for another 2~3 weeks. But after two days, the doctor gave me a list of names of nursing homes out of the hospital. So I asked to care my father home. The doctor said ok and my father came back home yesterday. I hired a caregiver who speaks our language to take care of him at home and finally I can take a break. I paid out of pocket $500 for emergency room, and paid $?00 for several therapy equipments. Nanny costs less than $2000 a month. Hope he can recover after a month or two. I guess I will not pay the other bills for my father and see how things go.

ParticipantBeatrix and Brian, thanks for the comments.
What papers that I should not sign? In ER room, I signed most of the paper for my father with his name. But there was one paper for transferring to hospital, I was asked to sign my name and put relationship to him. I did it.
I heard that some people don’t pay their medical bills and just disappear. But I have a residence address and will not disappear. Although I can say my father is a different person, and these are not my bills, would debt collectors be stopped by these words? That seems way too simple and hard to believe.

ParticipantI filed credit card dispute. But now as I checked my statement, I learned that my credit card failed to protect me. They rebilled the $358.25 dispute amount back.
When I called back, I was told because I didn’t send order confirmation, the credit card company could not decide what the right amount is. See, SkyPointDigital knew this. That’s why it never sent me any order confirmation or receipt.
What can I do?
