ParticipantYou forgot one.
“Your Social Security money taken from your pay was not put into an investment using dollar cost averaging. Instead it was given to welfare recipients and used as a government slush fund.”

ParticipantI say “good for you” if you leave CA to move to a business friendly state. I will eventually do the same thing. The Sacramento “Gravy Train” will inevitably fall just like the Roman Empire. CA is such a nice place to live with the exception of the welfare government. What a shame it is to be subject to Sacramento’s extortion.

ParticipantI plan on living abroad in the near future. If I find it more beneficial to renounce my U.S. citizenship, I will. I have no conviction to any one country. Those who think that the U.S. is the best place in the world to live have not traveled much thus they have a myopic view of the world.

ParticipantWhat would life be like without such banter?

ParticipantSorry, I posted twice.

ParticipantI prefer to just string women along and let them go. I guess I am the kind of guy who ruins it for the nice guy, but at least the women I date get something out of it. Yes, they get my generosity. I guess you pay for it anyway you look at it. The best women to string along are the foreign women especially from South America.

ParticipantI paid $92,000.00 for my car and I live in a small apartment. I am very responsible with money, thus have accumulated a comfortable amount of assets. I have no debt and no children to feed. I bought the car because I genuinely enjoy the car. You can call the car a poor investment, but I call it a hobby. Life is short. I say; “as long as you have no debt and you can pay cash,” why not enjoy life? This is my situation. I cannot speak for the others you refer to. I do admit that it looks suspicious when you see nice cars parked in front of shady residences.

ParticipantI think they are prohibited by law to divulge certain information for fear of someone like me sending the culprit to the emergency room. In my substantiated opinion, I am convinced that the only deterrent to crime is a baseball bat to the ribs.
