One more note for Amazon users …

Amazon have more sellers, and we have Prime, which includes the 2-day free shipping and free movies streaming. I’ve also used Overstock.com sometimes, but I think they don’t have that wide selection of products. They both have very good customer service though!
mp7444Participantinteresting! I thought they are selling very quickly. I guess it’s a new trend to help them sell even quicker. The house isn’t even built yet.
We went to see the model. IMHO, CalWest previous homes, Monteluz, seems to be as beautiful (and perhaps $200K less…), except that they have smaller lots, that’s all. I didn’t have those special feelings as for touring a-million-dollar homes, as I had when visiting those new homes in Scripps Ranch a couple of years back. The models are beautiful though.
mp7444ParticipantOur frontyard flowers are all eaten too — by deers! I saw 4 of them the other night. They came like a family. Look sooooo cute and everything. Next thing I know, all my geraniums are almost all gone. Damn deers!
mp7444ParticipantGlad to hear that flu! Best wishes to you and your family!
mp7444ParticipantI love reading your post, flu! Thanks for posting this & Happy Friday!

To give you some ideas, the MR pay off amount is usually 10 times of your annual payment.
thanks 4slive.
mp7444Participant
because MR annual payment is equvilent to 8-9% interest rate.
Could you shed some lights on how to is this number calculated?
I’m thinking about paying off the MR as well. MR & property tax together are like 1k/mo. :/
mp7444Participant

Flu, what channel did you watch the game on?
I could tell you, but them I would have to…. you know….
what?!? You have some special channels or something? 🙂

November 30, 2011 at 4:50 PM in reply to: Confused about Bel Etage vs. Ivy Gate in/near 4S ranch; other similar area suggestions? #733667mp7444ParticipantHi Eve,
I saw the sign on Alva road (in 4S ranch) for “Mission Ranch”. Apparently, they are building 25 new homes in a seemingly huge land. The sign said the homes will be around 4,200sf – 4,500sf and each sitting on a half acre lot.
Since they’ll be in 4S, thought you might be interested…
Good luck~

The original post is quite old… I guess in that time some of the lots may be about that size. But I know that many of the new homes in the $700-$800’s are in the lot size about 7000sf.

We ended up buying in Santaluz. It was more expensive at around $1 million vs. 4S Ranch but the quality was so much better, low density, homes were gorgeous, lot and grounds meticulously maintained, etc. ….
ER, I am glad you enjoy living in SantaLuz. I probably would as well if I had the money. I don’t think it’s a fair comparison as 4S and SantaLuz are not in the same type of homes anyway. Unless you’re talking about the Ivy Gate, or the Salviati, or the Mission Ranch (to be built in 2012)mp7444Participant
Not sure whats worse, the dog or whats on the tv..
