The dividend payout is based on pennies per share, so the lower the share price goes the higher the interest rate goes. That being said I would definitely buy Intel right now. Why? Because when Microsoft releases their new OS in less than 30 days people will buy up stocks that have anything to do with computers. So it is not a decision based on value but rather what will the stock do between now and the end of the year. This viewpoint is based on an amateurs perspective of trading and the markets, and I’ve never lost money on a stock yet, that alone should tell you something about my experience level, so take it with a grain of salt.
moneymakerParticipantThe appointment is made. Jesus will be performing it, if you can’t trust Jesus then who can you trust. Hopefully he will be able to rise again.
moneymakerParticipantVet said dog is about 5 years old. He has always had bad breath since we’ve had him. I just kind of accepted that, until last week when one of his teeth fell out and then I did a little research. By the way the tooth that fell out had lots of tartar build up. So I have no doubt that he “really!” needs his teeth cleaned. What I’m not sure about is does he really need to be castrated? I mean how many men would get a vasectomy if it involved castration? Not many would be my guess.
moneymakerParticipantI remember seeing a piece on Bloomberg where they interviewed 2 guys that were running one of these companies. It seemed pretty obvious to me that they were just in it to charge the high interest rates, effectively setting up there own little loan operation with the panels as collateral. Probably better to buy outright if you can afford it. I would love to go solar, but even at todays low loan rates I think the utility companies can buy the electricity back at lower rates than they are charging the higher consumers. In other words I don’t think it really pencils out unless you have a high usage and can pay cash. So the rich and the marijuana growers benefit, as for the rest of us, we will have to wait. If I ever get a C-10 license then I will install my own, by then the ones they sell @ Costco should have the independent charge controllers.
moneymakerParticipantI am also considering a trip south of the border. My little dog, poor thing needs his teeth cleaned and I just recently found out it is outrageously expensive up here, over $300. So i got to thinking about Algodones. If they can do it to people for a third of the price, they may have vets down there that will do it for around $100. If anyone knows of veterinarians they would recommend in TJ let me know, by the way I do have a pickup. I was also wondering if the immigration pepole might give me a hard time and try to impound my dog for quarantine or something like that.
moneymakerParticipantI used to think that when I was getting change back from a retailer who was Asian that they were being rude by putting it on the counter, now maybe it isn’t so. I still think it is being impersonal though when eye contact is avoided, maybe that is an ethic thing too however, because when bowing I believe eye contact is not maintained, unless bowing before a fight. P.S.- I generally don’t initiate a handshake but will not generally shirk from one as germs are what make our immune system strong.
moneymakerParticipantA top to what? I’m saying sunny till the election is over…then?
moneymakerParticipantI’d say go for it! First check out the neighborhood though and make sure you fit in. I would do it if I were retiring.
August 29, 2012 at 7:56 PM in reply to: Average water bill for single family house San Diego? #750891moneymakerParticipantI personally think it is a bunch of crap to tie one’s water usage to the sewer bill. The sewer bill should be a set amount that is equally shared by all. I remember in a college chemistry class the instructor would run the water at full blast after class for several minutes to “clean the pipes”. Well if that is how they are cleaned then I think I’m actually doing the city a favor by using more water. I think it is a tax on those that can afford it more and it is unfair.
moneymakerParticipantI’ll wait till it’s @ redbox, along with most of the recently released movies.
moneymakerParticipantThanks all for your input, I guess i will wait to see what the iPhone5 will have. Someone told me yesterday that it will even have a built in holographic projector, I doubt that however as it would take too much battery power.
August 18, 2012 at 9:59 PM in reply to: What would be the first thing(or second or third…) to do after losing your keys #750517moneymakerParticipantWith my work truck I will sometimes put trash on the bumper with the intention of throwing it into the nearest trash can, only to find that I forgot about it and it is still there after driving for miles. Most things will stay on the car top believe it or not until you make a sharp turn somewhere. That is where i would look at the first on/off ramp.
moneymakerParticipantI was not talking seasonal saver or vacation disconnect. Do a full disconnect, then just reconnect under the self install plan. Will probably have to give a couple of days notice on the reconnect however as they have to actually drive out and reconnect it outside.
moneymakerParticipantI’ve got an iPOD, wife has an apple laptop.
