ParticipantOkay, did a little more research on short term investment grade bonds and the future does look scary for them. So for us with 401K’s where is the best place to put money now? Assuming Vanguard investment options.

ParticipantAt minimum wage,$16k a year, how long do you think it would take to save $26k? Or in other words I don’t think so. What about closing costs,taxes,insurance? Anyone making minimum wage CANNOT by themselves buy a home, and keep it, in San Diego! Not without some form of government assistance.
