ParticipantFrom Wikipedia:
“Specific contraceptives contested by plaintiffs
The Green and Hahn families believe that life begins at conception which they equate to fertilization, and object to their closely-held for-profit corporations providing health insurance coverage to their female employees of four FDA-approved contraceptives that the Green and Hahn families believe may prevent implantation of a fertilized egg (many scientists disagree), which the Green and Hahn families believe constitute an abortion.[11][12][13][14]Emergency contraceptive pills (sometimes inaccurately called “morning after” pills)
Plan B (levonorgestrel) and its generic equivalents
ella (ulipristal acetate)
Intrauterine devices (IUDs)
ParaGard (copper IUD)
Mirena and Skyla (levonorgestrel-releasing IUDs)”Read your shit before you freak out people.

ParticipantNow, if they would only make it illegal for those who haven’t yet been arrested (yet).

Thanks for the clearly unbiased source of information.
If you have any data that disputes anything presented, have at it. Otherwise, that’s a horrendously ignorant ad hominem argument.
I’m sorry, are you saying that the Huffington Post isn’t biased towards left leaning ideals? That sounds like ignorance to me.
No, I’m saying that arguing that the source is biased without a shred of evidence that any of the data presented is inaccurate is not really an argument. Show me bias the article quoted. Show me inaccuracies.
I could make the exact same argument against the article paramount posted from the Harvard Review. It was written by two guys that are bought and paid for by the gun industry. I didn’t do it, because I have no interest in researching all the errors in it. I read the first couple pages and it was clear, it wasn’t a peer reviewed study and was written with a clear bias. I’m not going to argue it here, it’s not worth my time. So I didn’t even respond to it.
I’m sorry, what exactly was my argument? I inferred that the article you referenced was published by an organization with a clear tendency to be biased toward liberal agendas.
Are you honestly asserting that the article isn’t biased?

In the 50’s – when religion was still largely a part of the American family and before the libs took over – the problems we have today weren’t even on the radar screen.
I’m not sure what problems you’re referring to. Maybe you can identify the “problems” caused or brought about by liberals. But if religious participation leads to better living conditions, you’d think things would be better in regions of the country where religious participation is the highest. I don’t think that’s true.
The 10 most religious states are, in order: Mississippi, Utah, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and Oklahoma
How are conditions in these states?
Nine of these ten states still had racially segregated schools at the time of the Supreme Court’s 1954 decision in Brown v. Board of Education.
Five of these ten states are still among the worst states in the nation in terms of the continuing racial segregation of their public schools.
Eight of these ten states are among the eleven states in the nation with the highest rates of incarceration.
All of these ten states still have the death penalty.
Seven of these ten states are among the ten states in the nation with the highest percentage of their citizens living under the poverty level.
Six of these ten states are among the nine worst states in the nation in rates of obesity.
Nine of these ten states are among the twenty states in the nation with the highest rates of smoking.
Seven of these ten states rank in the bottom ten states in the nation in the overall health of citizens.
Nine of these ten states rank in the bottom thirteen states in the nation in life expectancy.
Seven of these ten states rank in the bottom ten states in the nation in the quality of healthcare.
Five of these ten states are the only states in the nation without a minimum wage law.
All ten of these ten states rank in the bottom sixteen states in the nation in minimum wage.
Nine of these ten states ranks in the bottom eighteen states in the nation in per pupil expenditures for public education.
Nine of these ten states rank in the bottom twenty states in the nation in the quality of high school education.
Nine of these ten states are among the twenty worst states in the nation in terms of gun deaths per capita.
Five of these ten states are among the ten states in the nation whose citizens watch the most online pornography.

Given complete lack of control over this conflicting loveaffair with guns yet scared at the same time because of the uunraveling increase in gun violence, you turn to, of course, GOD.
Let’s apply some facts to that statement.
http://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/pdf/fv9311.pdf
It clearly shows a significant reduction in gun violence. I think it helps support spdrun’s comment about the sensationalizing the media does.

Participant
So you are a tree hugger till you want what you want? I for one am shocked! Never mind that a Pergola is in no way shape or form a need, you just sound like a douche.
I have no idea whether the stains in question are bad for the environment, but your tone is just awful.
Josh
I’m for environmental laws that make sense and think about the whole picture. It’s great that we have reduced VOC’s, but when doing so renders the product nearly useless, it’s a problem. What is the environmental cost of having to reapply stain every other year, or worse yet having to repair/replace that pergola because it wasn’t properly treated?

Participant
Discrimination exists, no matter what. Let’s face it, a “merit-based” system is really discriminating on the basis of I.Q. Some kids can get a 4.0 GPA without even trying, while others will work their asses off just to get a 2.8 GPA. Which one will be the better worker? Which one “deserves” a college education? Which one would benefit most from a college experience?
Nobody “earns” a high I.Q. It is a gift, totally undeserved. Too many people with well above-average intelligence like to pat themselves on the back as if they’ve earned whatever comes to them.
Jealous much?

Participant
The problem with a lot of Asians is they don’t give a rats ass about things related to governmental policies. Until it attacks something that is a fundamental no no (crossing the line).
Fucking with kids education is one of those things.
Me thinks I will be camping out next weekend at ranch 99 with a petition table and a laptop… This is just bullshit
You should also start another petition to make it illegal to even ask about race on the college application.

ParticipantI always had the same problem with my wallet and keys and other stuff. Now I do pretty much the same thing. they always go back into my backpack as soon as I’m done with them, or upon returning home (if I went out without the backpack). It works well.

ParticipantI would try to find out if the house is rented or owned. If rented, contact the landlord and make sure they know how many people are living there.
